Autogrill is launching Origini Edition, the new selection of sandwiches designed to celebrate Italian PDO and PGI certified excellence in collaboration with Fondazione Qualivita.
The project aims to promote local industries and premium agrifood products whose quality, characteristics and reputation are indissolubly tied to their place of origin.

Defining marks
PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) and PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) are European marks that guarantee the traceability of agrifood products originating from a given territory.

Protected Designation of Origin
This indicates agrifood products originating from a territory in which all the production phases determining their specific qualities are carried out.
PGI
Protected Geographical Indication
This indicates agrifood products originating from a territory in which at least one production phase determining a specific quality and reputation is carried out.
