On the A1 Milano-Bologna near Modena, this is the perfect place for a quality gastronomic stop-off.
CAFFETTERIA, FORNO AND MERCATO
The first thing you see on the 1st floor is the market, where an explosion of flavours hit you as soon as you enter: over 2,000 fresh products representing the Italian gastronomic tradition.
Enjoy a break in the Caffetteria, with something sweet, a pâtisserie, or a nice ice cream in the Lait craft ice cream parlour. For those more into wellbeing, there’s no lack of centrifuged juices, fruit salads and smoothies.
The culinary journey is rounded out by the bakery, which makes bread, pizzas and focaccias in its wood-fired oven every day, and a Piadina corner.
The market is open round the clock.
RESTAURANTS LA PASTA, LA PIZZA, LA SOSTA
The 1st floor also has three restaurants: La Pasta, La Pizza and La Sosta.
Every day at La Pasta, you’ll find Gragnano pasta and egg pasta, prepared with traditional Italian recipes.
At La Pizza, you can try an Eataly Pizza on the motorway too: it’s prepared in full view and cooked in a large traditional wood-fired oven with a rotating bed.
La Sosta, featuring La Granda meat dishes (Presidio Slow Food), is dedicated to the philosophy of Tonino Guerra and his invitation to slow down our rhythms of life and rediscover the pleasures of the stop-off.
